Giant snooker ball

If you was to scale up a snooker ball to the same size as the earth there would be mountains three times higher than anything found on earth. Although a snooker ball appears to be very smooth it is far from it, the surface is covered in small imperfections and ridges that scaled up will become massive mountains and Vally's

The Earth weighs around 6,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000 Kg

Bit of a science one this time the Earth weighs 6,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000 Kg ! how do we know this ? Good question everything that has a mass has a gravitational attraction to each other so if you put two weights together they will attract each other now this will be a very small attraction but if you have instruments sensitive enough you will be able to read this. From this attraction you can work out the mass of the objects. It is worth mentioning that having a weight is reliant on a gravitational field it is more accurate to state this weight as the mass of the Earth as this will not change depending the strength of the gravitational field.

Hippos can open their mouths to over 4 feet high

A hippo can open its mouth to around 150 degrees this means that they can have a opening of four feet this is more than enough space to fit  a small child in to. Hippos also have 20 inch teeth in that huge mouth.

All of the clocks in the movie "Pulp Fiction" read 4:20

Apparently all of the clocks in the movie pulp fiction read 4:20, this is a myth that has been doing the rounds for a while now and it is in no way shape or form true. Two scenes put stop to this being true, one when Jimmy, Vince and Jules are drinking coffee in the kitchen the clock reads 8:15 also when Vince and Jules retentive the brief case the clock reads 7:22.

The dot that appears over the letter "i" is called a tittle

The small dot that appears above a lower case i and j is called a tittle, it is a integral part of these Glyphs.

Lightning strikes about 6,000 times per minute on this planet

Around the world there are around 6,000 lighting strikes per minute on the earth and sea, not really a inconceivable number really considering the size of the world and the amount of weather patterns there are
